THE 32ND INTERNATIONAL AGRICULTURAL EXHIBITION AGRORUS
From August 30 to September 1, the 32nd International Agroindustrial Exhibition "Agrorus" was held in St. Petersburg at the Expoforum Convention and Exhibition Center, the largest specialized event of the Northwestern Federal District of the Russian Federation in the field of agroindustrial complex, which is among the priority projects of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia.
It was held with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, the Government of St. Petersburg and the Government of the Leningrad Region, under the patronage of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Leningrad Region. Over 6500 specialists from 16 countries visited the Exhibition in 3 days: Russia, Belarus, China, Germany, Georgia, Israel, Spain, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Morocco, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Finland, Ethiopia and South Africa. In an exhibition area of 8000 sq. m. m was attended by 305 companies from 24 regions of Russia, as well as China, Belarus and Azerbaijan. 7 collective regional expositions were presented: St. Petersburg, Sevastopol, Leningrad, Novosibirsk, Bryansk regions, Kabardino-Balkar Republic, Stavropol Territory. Among the honored guests of the exhibition were the consuls of Malta, India, Hungary and Tajikistan.
The official opening ceremony was attended by Governor of the Leningrad Region Alexander Drozdenko, Vice-Governor of St. Petersburg Stanislav Kazarin, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Agrarian Issues Oleg Nilov, Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Sergey Yakhnyuk, deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Leningrad Region, Chairman of the Standing Committee on Agro-industrial and Fisheries Complex Vasily Ryzhkov, General Director of the company ExpoForum International Sergey Voronkov.
The business program of the Exhibition "Agrorus-2023" included more than 30 events dedicated to current trends and trends in the development of agriculture, such as digitalization, export of agricultural products, import substitution and staffing.
The Agrophysical Research Institute held two round tables and two conferences on the following topics:
- Modern potato growing technologies in Russia;
- Prospects for the development of beekeeping in Russia";
- Food quality and rational nutrition are the key to the health of the nation;
- Modern innovative technologies for processing raw materials into high-quality food products.
The institutes of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia have placed their completed scientific developments of 26 scientific institutions at the stand. This year AFI FGBNU presented scientific developments not only at the stand of the Leningrad region, but also at the stand of St. Petersburg. Of great interest was the small-sized vegetation light installation "Ecophil" for growing crops, presented at the stand of St. Petersburg. Visitors and participants of the exhibition could observe the development and growth of lettuce plants of various varieties in it for three days. The attention of specialists in the field of agriculture attracted and caused a positive response to the equipment created or improved in the Agrophysical Research Institute for the repair of reclamation systems, unmanned aerial vehicles, which significantly increase the productivity of agricultural producers.
