On December 23, 2025, a meeting of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences was held in Moscow. As part of the work of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the election of new candidates for Professors of the Russian Academy of Sciences was held. As a result of a secret ballot, Artur I. Novikov, PhD, a leading researcher at the Department of Agricultural Technology Management and Agromonitoring, was elected Professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences in the Department of Agricultural Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
