The laboratory is part of the Department of Plant Light Physiology and Agroecosystem Bioprodectivity, established in 2015 after the merger of the Plant Biophysics and Seed Biophysics Laboratories. The laboratory conducts fundamental scientific research and carries out applied developments in the field of agricultural plants ecological physiology and biophysics related to their resistance and adaptation to the stressful environmental factors action and the possibility of improving potential productivity.
The laboratory includes two sectors:
- Sector of Plant Ecophysiology;
- Sector of Plant Biophysics.
