Main directions of scientific research

• Investigation for the mechanisms of various species and varieties plants resistance and adaptation to the action of environmental stress factors; determination of criteria for plant phenotyping and assessment of economically valuable traits by non-invasive contact and remote methods
• Investigation of the cereals morphogenesis and working out of  methods for its modeling and visualization when the production process changes depending on the impact of limiting environmental factors.
• Working out of theoretical foundations and optical non-invasive methods for diagnosing the plants physiological state, studying the relationship between optical characteristics and plant productivity; developing a methodology for monitoring crops based on remote diagnosis of the crops state  for spatially differentiated fertilization and the use of other agrochemicals
